Jake Heenan joined Bristol from Director of Rugby Pat Lam’s former club Connacht ahead of the 2018-19 season. The former New Zealand Under-20 captain has been a key cog in the Bears squad since his arrival, making more than 30 appearances for the club. The versatile back rower spent five seasons in Galway, where he was a standout player in Connacht’s PRO12-winning season of 2015/16.
