Kieran Marmion joined Bristol Bears from Irish side Connacht ahead of the 2023/24 season.

In his 11-year-long spell at Connacht, he made 222 appearances. He joined their academy in 2011 and made his senior debut whilst still in the academy in September 2012, starting against Cardiff Blues.

In his first season at Connacht, Marmion started all 22 league games. He represented Ireland at youth level, playing for the U18s and U20s before making his international debut against Argentina in 2014 and has since earnt 28 caps for his country.
