Sam Wolstenholme joined Bristol Bears in June 2023, ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

He previously played for Leeds Tykes, Wasps and Leicester Tigers in Premiership rugby. He made 32 appearances in the Gallagher Premiership since his debut in 2017 for Leeds Tykes when he scored a try to secure victory for his side. Wolstenholme joined Wasps for the 2019/20 season where he made 30 appearances in his three years at the club.

Wolstenholme then signed a short term contract with Leicester Tigers in January 2023 before switching to Bristol Bears.
