Centurion Max Lahiff has agreed a contract extension with Bristol Bears, as the club locks down one of its most experienced and consistent performers.
The versatile prop who can operate on both sides of scrum, has made 104 appearances for the club, bringing up his century against Clermont Auvergne in January.
The experienced Lahiff, a fan favourite in Bear Country and across the Gallagher Premiership, joined the club in 2019 and has made more than 150 appearances in the competition.

Director of Rugby, Pat Lam said: “Max is a Bears centurion who has played some of his best rugby during his time with the Bears. He is a special character so I love the fact that he feels he can be himself in our team, which adds real value to our culture on and off the field.
“His ability to play both tighthead and loosehead is invaluable, and his experience is hugely beneficial to our younger players in the front row, working closely with George Kloska, Jimmy Halliwell and Sam Scott.”
Lahiff said: “I’m proud to have played more than 100 games for this club and I’m pleased to have extended my time here into a seventh season.
“I’m really enjoying my rugby and feel I have developed as a player and an athlete during my time here. I’m excited about the potential of this group and look forward to playing my part as we target silverware.”
