Santiago Grondona has been banned for three games, reduced to two if he successfully completes the World Rugby Coaching Intervention Programme (CIP), after being sent off against Exeter Chiefs on Saturday.

The case was heard on papers by independent panel chair, Daniel Gore, sitting with Beck Essex and Guy Lovgreen .

Grondona was shown a red card for a dangerous tackle, contrary to World Rugby Law 9.13, during a game against Exeter Chiefs on Saturday 22nd March and admitted the charge.

He received a three-match ban, which will be reduced to two if he successfully completes the World Rugby Coaching Intervention Programme (CIP).*
