Here’s everything you need to know about Getting to the Gate for our Easter Funday showdown with Leicester Tigers on Sunday, April 20th (3pm KO).
MATCHDAY BUS
Our matchday shuttle buses will be operating as follows:
- AG1 Portway Park & Ride (via Portway) – approx. every 15 minutes
- AG2 Brislington Park & Ride (direct service) – approx. every 20 minutes
- AG3 Temple Meads (via Broadmead and the centre) – approx. every 20 minutes
All services drop-off and collect from Winterstoke Road, outside Ashton Gate. Full details including route maps, timetables, pricing and ticket information is available at Getting Here – Bristol Bears Rugby.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Construction work at the Portway Park & Ride means that there will be a change in the loading point for the AG1. The buses will now depart from what3word///putty.loses.resort and will be signposted. Journey times may be affected, please factor this into your travel planning.
RAIL
Post-match there will be an additional train services departing from Parson Street at 17.58 to Taunton.
Please note there will be a rail closure between Westbury and Frome, fans travelling along this line are advised to plan ahead for rail interruptions.
CAR
For fans travelling by car to the game, we have launched a service that will allow you to connect with fellow fans to share a journey to the stadium.
The platform will allow fans to save money on fuel and car parking costs while also enabling some fans to attend who may otherwise struggle to get to the game.
Fans simply need to visit joinmyjourney, register and then join the ‘hub’ for Bristol Bears Home Games. You then upload your journey for the matchday and indicate whether you are a looking for a lift or if you are a driver with a spare seat.

WALKING/CYCLING
Fans walking or cycling from the city centre and harbourside are advised that Vauxhall Bridge is closed for repairs. Gaol Ferry Bridge and Bedminster Bridge remain open. Full details visit Restoration of New Cut bridges (bristol.gov.uk).
