The Bristol Bears Community Foundation will be at the heart of our matchday when Bears host West Country rivals Exeter Chiefs on Saturday, March 22nd (5.30pm KO).

We’re celebrating our award-winning Community Foundation by showcasing the wide range of programmes delivered to thousands of people every year, working with people from five years old to 95 to help improve lives across Greater Bristol and beyond.

Supporters will be able to learn more about how the Foundation makes a difference in our community throughout the week and on the matchday, with demos, activities, activations and insight into the programmes from coaches and participants.

The matchday activities on the day include:

  • Play on the pitch for Club Connexion Under-9 teams
  • Bears Den interview with the Foundation’s Head of Projects
  • Higher and Lower and Try Reaction games with Foundation team
  • Programme demonstration in the concourse with coaches
  • Programme participants running out with Bristol Bears as mascots
  • Half-time Bear Run with Club Connexion teams on the pitch
  • Online raffle to win tickets to Big Day Out in Cardiff

Listen out on the day for Foundation programme participants who will be supporting Bears TV with matchday announcements and pitchside interviews at Ashton Gate.

With £1 from every ticket sold going towards the Foundation, you will be supporting the charity’s life-changing work just by purchasing a ticket for the Derby Weekend clash.

Guests in hospitality will be able to enter a silent auction to win a range of signed Bears memorabilia and exclusive prizes, with all the funds donated to the Foundation.

Fans can also donate to the Foundation by texting ‘5BEARS’ to 70460 to donate £5 to the charity and support the vital work of the Bright Sparks programme, which is aimed at improving young people’s access to sports, education, and wellbeing in the city.

Bright Sparks harnesses the Bears brand and the power of sport to work with young people with challenging behaviour in local secondary schools, providing the tools to those who struggle in a traditional classroom setting to reach their potential.

With a variety of ways to get involved, join us in celebrating the Foundation and raising vital funds for the charity as it continues to help improve the lives of people in Bristol.

All Season Ticket holders have a unique Mates Rates code for this fixture to pass to friends and family to claim two tickets at £20 each, anywhere in the ground.
