Bristol Bears players joined pupils from six Cabot Learning Federation schools to celebrate World Book Day 2025 with a morning of reading sessions.

Tom Gwilliam, Kofi Cripps, Harry Rowson, Sam Worsley, Paddy Pearce and Jimmy Halliwell visited Evergeen Primary Academy, Snowdon Village, Frome Vale Academy, Begbrook Academy, Summerhill Academy and Minerva Academy.

The Bears enjoyed a range of literacy-focused activities at the schools, including one-on-one reading sessions where pupils had the opportunity to read to the players.

Players also took part in group story time where they read aloud to pupils and interactive Q&A sessions, with the visits concluding with autograph signing and selfies.

This collaboration between Bristol Bears and Cabot Learning Federation is part of recently launched strategic partnership aimed at growing rugby in the region.
