Bristol Bears players George Kloska, James Dun and Deago Bailey made a surprise visit to the Foundation’s October half-term camp at Shaftesbury Park.

Our Player Development Camps, run by the Bristol Bears Community Foundation, provide an opportunity for youngsters to gain an insight into how the professionals train, learn new skills and attributes, and take part in physical activity in a fun and relaxed environment.

The young rugby enthusiasts aged between 8-14 years got the chance to meet Kloska, Dun and Bailey during the two-day camp at the home of Dings Crusaders, with the Bears trio running them through a series of skill games before signing autographs.

Delivered by our team of highly qualified and experienced Foundation coaches, these camps enable children of all abilities to make new friends, improve their game understanding and become the best version of themselves. All participants also receive a free Bears t-shirt.
